We purchased this car from someone who had been performing a multi-year restoration. For a number of reasons, he was not able to complete the car and we took off where he had stopped. All electrical is functioning properly. Wide white walls on steel wheels with correct hub caps make this car quite stunning. We just completed a steering box rebuild, as well as a full service and are very impressed with how nicely this car looks, sounds, and drives. I have owned many tr3’s, and they represent a different type of sports car experience, that truly helped to define the phrase ‘sports car’. Tr3’s were one of the first cars to be produced with standard disc brakes. Unlike many other sports cars, this car had a heavy duty frame, and an extremely stout engine that was derived from tractors and made to last forever. A smooth transmission, very nice hydraulic clutch, and low slung doors make going through the gears exhilarating. Priced well below a normal restoration. Gassmanautomotive. Com!
