I have owned this vehicle for the last 5or so years and i believe its time to let her go. I am very limited on timeand the datsun just does not get the attention it deserves. The vehicle justspends 95 percent of its days sitting at home looking pretty and is lucky to bedriven to work once a month. She is very solid with no rust she starts right upevery time time! She runs excellent and all gears go in properly without grinds. Car has a one of a kind front fiberglass bumper that replaced the big metalfront one. Rear bumper has also been shaved and makes it look very slick, paintis obviously not original. Engine is the fuel injected l28e connected to the 5speed manual transmission. Interior is in good shape in exception of thedashboard which has several cracks on it. All glass is in excellent shape withno cracks and both windows roll up/down car is slightly lowered on eibach sportsprings which gives it an aggressive look. Car has no leaks nor does it smoke. Suspension is also very responsive and feels very solid. Vehicle is a real headturner and gets complimented every time i drive it.

Minor ding on passengerdoor above the handle that can easily be removed by paintless dent guy. All newwindow seals and door seals (some old glue residue is present in a few pics buti'll work on getting it fully removed before car is picked up). When ifound the car, it had been stored in a garage untouched for nearly 30 yearsafter the second owner lost interest in it. I bought it and brought it back tolife. What i loved about the car was its rare original color, and how solid itwas. Being stored inside, untouched, in a dry climate for 30+ certainly savedthis beauty! I believe it was always a garaged car. Solid original frame andfloors. Factory undercoating still in place. Very nice original it's age! Speaker holes cut in door panels (speakers and radioare gone). Car has only 70k original miles! I converted to brandnew weber carbs for better performance, but original su carbs will be includedalong with air cleaner. Fires up withfirst blip of key. A few extra parts included as well. This has anexcellent running, super quiet stock engine. Tranny shifts very well. Brakes area little soft. I've bled them but the rear drums aren't adjusting. Carneeds very little to be perfect.

Car is being sold because it just doesnt get driven enough to make sense to own. Car starts on the first time and feels great. Mileage shows 59,300 - i believe it is 159,300, but there is no way to be sure. Installed roll bars and other protection as well as mounting for simpson belts. Installed air conditioning (blows cold) at over $3,000. All new suspension (springs, shocks, steering rack). Brake lines have been replaced. Dont have the receipts but seats have been replaced (see photos). All gauges are from the 240z and have all been adapted to the chevy v8. Additional temp gauge in glove compartment for backup to the primary one. Older sony cd player installed. CD Player✔ Air Conditioning

A 3 owner documented 1978 280z 2+2 with less than80k miles on the odometer and an ownership trail that goes a long way to proveit. The z in finished in color code 240 racing green metallic over a saddleinterior. The car has been well maintained and refreshed with a mindset to keepit as close to stock as was practical. The original wheels and hubcaps have beenrecently replaced, the exhaust has been updated with a custom bent modern systemfrom behind the original manifold, and the valve cover is polished, butotherwise this z remains pretty much in stock form. The radio, steering wheel,and shift knob remain unmodified, and against the current trend, late stylebumpers are in place and in very good condition as well. Even the headlights arestock nissan koito halogens retrofitted from an s130. The car has been paintedonce a couple years ago, and was done to a nice driver level. The dash has no cracks, but does have a couple imperfections thatpresent almost as subtle bubbles near the main gauges and has aged much betterthan most. Everything works including the clock with the exception of the airconditioning, which seems to be intact, but hasn't been charged during myownership. The radiator and many of the tune up parts are new within the lastyear. The car runs well, doesn't drink much fuel, and is a joy to drive. Air Conditioning

Comoptions:description:it is a late 1972 (oct) productionmaking it an actual 1973. Very nice original 1973 datsun 240z ready forrestoration or daily driver with a little tuning. I acquired this z about 5years ago from the central california valley. It had been sitting for 6+ years. After sitting in my garage for the past 5 years i finally started tinkering withit. New gas, changed the oil, adjusted valves, new starter, ignition switch,clutch master and slave cylinder. Started right up drove it around the block,transmission seemed fine as are brakes but it will need some carburetor work andfine tuning to be road worthy, and new tires etc. They hold air but are 10+years old. Compression check ranged from 150 to 160 on all cylinders it is anumbers matching engine. It has had a white repaint at some time and it is anoriginal white car. Upholstery is clean but not original. All body panels andglass appear to be original and firewall vin matches strut tower and dash vinand as far as i can tell it has never been in an accident and no bondo present. Things that need attention are; carbs, they appear to be the original smogequipped flat top hitachis which i heard are pretty hard to tune properly so ihaven't attempted yet. Headlights don't work (not sure why, fuses areok) rust in rear quarter panels in front of rear wheels and rear hatch panel ( iwill include new patch panels as in pictures) also a little surface rust and alittle rust in floorboards and a pillars as shown in pics. Missing one hubcap and no spare. Needs wiper arms but wipermotor works fine as does heater and gauges. Clock does not work and some dashan.

I bought it in california from the original owners who lived out west in southern california and in iowa, so no rust (see pics.) only 38,950 original miles since new. Check the vehicle history to confirm. Paint is really nice, driven on weekends only. Has a new ansa exhaust, which i spent months looking for, and is correct for 1981. It is equipped with t-tops, is black with gold exterior trim and wheels as well as the tan leather interior, which is in good shape. Engine and transmission work really well, all original except for battery, tires and starter. It is a very enjoyable car and gives me plenty of smiles, and hopefully it will find the right person to continue the datsun 280zx turbo legacy.
